Our fluid filters used in the filtration of industrial liquids are designed and manufactured with emphasis put on contamination loading, element sealing and core strength. We have designed several pleated paper elements that replace the conventional cotton cartridges. Our design prevents channeling or unloading of fluids which is characteristic of other media. Our core exceeds the industry's heavy duty standards and assures the needed protection against pressure surges.

Our rust resistant outer wrap is made of expanded electro-galvanized metal which gives more surface area and protection in handling. This added protection will not disintegrate or burst under power surges as opposed  to paper board wraps. The body, with a 77%  open area, provides a high flow rate with a low pressure drop that is  conductive to precise fluid filtration.

In cases where one cartridge may
be exposed to over 30 gpm of flow and viscosity in excess of 140 SSU, equipment manufacturers recommend an outer wrap be used.

Our heavy duty carbon steel end caps provide the resistance against rust and deterioration caused by industrial fluids. We use a uniformly distributed thermo-setting adhesive and also have available epoxy for specialized applications.

Our process and the quality materials used completely eliminate the possibility of internal bypassing of fluids.
We use Buna N gaskets which are the best general gasket material available and assures a positive seal. Both cork and synthetic rubber are available.


The
paper, used in all of our fluid filters, is resin impregnated and cured at high temperatures. This process enables our paper to maintain its strength and resist the effects of water and heat that would otherwise soften and cause the paper to swell. We use a controlled pleat shaping process that prevents "pleat bunching" assuring that all filter media is utilized.

Our paper is designed and constructed to provide the most highly efficient filter in the industry today with particle removal ratings available from 1/2 to 50 microns.
